Barnadesia di Migc creates pieces that emerge viscerally. Her work aims to make palpable to the viewer the transitory feelings under which it was created.

She articulates feelings as energy; which are then represented as abstract manifestations and other figurative representations filled with symbolism and vigour.

Barnadesia di Migc (María Inés Gómez Carrillo) was born in Bogotá, Colombia in the early 80s. As a teenager she moved to the United States, and later to Milan to study Product Design at NABA. After completing her studies she left Europe, and lived in the Middle East for almost a decade before returning to Italy. This rich multicultural background clearly defined her unorthodox worldview, approach to life, and the arts.

Her creative journey started by designing self-produced collectible furniture pieces, and now her work encompasses other forms of applied and visual arts.

Her atelier is located in the historical heart of Milan, in the 5 Vie Arts and Design District.
